There are several companies and organizations that want their computer support specialist to possess at least a computer science bachelor's degree apart from the certifications. An equivalent degree of computer science is also acceptable in this regard. In case the candidate comes with previous work experience in the same field then some companies might not stick with the rule of compulsory formal education.

Keeping the said factors in mind, work your way up to apply for a job as a computer support specialist. Prepare a good resume so that you can get hired in the position that you are willing to take up. The average salary of a computer support specialist is around $70,000 per year.
