Job Summary:
This individual is on a learning curve toward achieving full competency in his/her discipline of providing computer support for internal customers. The individual has had some applied hands-on experience, but still requires direction and assistance. Under general supervision, this position works with clients throughout the Company to respond to their needs for primarily desktop and LAN-based hardware and software.
Responsibilities include but not limited t
Responding to and resolving first-level Service Desk incident calls and/or second-level Service Desk incident calls. Maintaining computer inventory. Assisting with computer rollouts and other miscellaneous computer-related projects. Providing off-hour Service Desk phone support is required. Traveling may be required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, helpful). Able to organize and multitask. Self-motivated. Ability to follow established procedures.
Excellent communication skills including good grammar, tone of voice and diction. Basic computer and typing skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Lotus notes, Access and SAP is preferred.
