Services has partnered with a Leading Power Management Company in Waukesha, WI seeking a Technical Support Specialist to collaborate with Proposals and Sales to resolve order discrepancies\r
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist\r
Work Location: Waukesha, WI\r
Start Date: ASAP\r
Duration: 6 months\r
Compensation Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience\r
Position Type: Contract\r
Type of Hours: Full Time\r
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities\r
\tCompare purchase order and quotation information:\r
\t\tTerms and Conditions\r
\t\tSpecial Requirements\r
\tCollaborate with Proposals and Sales to resolve order discrepancies.\r
\tCreate material numbers and order packets for design engineers:\r
\tUse customized software to generate material numbers\r
\tCreate packets that include all pertinent documentation required for proper design and production\r
\tCommunicate special requirements\r
\tProcess customer changes against open sales orders\r
\tCommunicate information between engineering, marketing, scheduling, and customers\r
\tAccumulate data for metrics and process tracking.\r
\tUnderstand and utilize lean tools and concepts to drive continuous improvement.\r
Technical Skills/Education/Experience\r
\tMinimum of 3 years of product, customer service, inside sales, or proposals experience in a technical field\r
\tTechnical degree\r
\tMinimum of 5 years of product, customer service, inside sales, or proposals experience in a technical field\r
\tMinimum of 1 year of experience using ERP and quotation systems\r
\tExcellent oral, interpersonal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate\r
\tDetail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy\r
\tKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SAP or other ERP related system and the ability to utilize such tools to analyze data and solve routine problems\r
