This position reports to the IT Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with administrative and training needs of the user base as directed by the IT Manager. This position will provide technical assistance to computer system users as needed. Responsible for answering questions or resolving computer, network, and other IT related issues via in person, by telephone, or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, e-mail, operating systems, and network equipment. Position requires coordination with other departments within the law firm in a comprehensive approach at building and maintaining successful relationships with all employees.
Provide general computer usage training to include training in Outlook, MS Office, Adobe, some elements of Advologix, and Docushare to include upload and maintain training material.
Dropbox setup, training, auditing.
Maintains accurate inventories of equipment, software, licenses, etc.
Maintain employee status change notices, intranet contact list, and email administration.
Generate and present reports.
Strong ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of operating systems, and appropriate software to include login credentials.
Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities; i.e. IT tickets.
Confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.
Additional projects, as assigned.
Be able to understand computer terminology and identify hardware and peripherals.
Ability to multitask and to stay with an issue through its successful resolution.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. The eight-hour work day schedule will be determined by the IT Manager.

High School diploma required; Associates degree in Information Systems is preferred.
Minimum of one year of computer savvy experience in technology support role.
Extensive familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of equipment such as iPad, iPhone is required.
Knowledge of products such as Docushare and Go To Assist is preferred.
Familiarity with Rackspace.
Experience with Salesforce software or other CRM system is preferred.
