Laulima Government Solutions is looking for a Help Desk-Program Support professional to support our contract in Portsmouth, VA.
Description of Responsibilities:
Provide customer support to help desk inquiries
Manually enter data and maintain databases in Excel
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), training guides, quick references, tutorials, and User Guides
Assists in resolving complex IT program and implementation issues, IT systems that require coordination and compatibility.
Provides suggestions as appropriate on situations requiring changes in policies, or broad program goals.
Writes and maintains program documentation.
Ensures that the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services.
Extraction and transferring of data requested by Program Managers while maintaining data protection under HIPPA and Privacy Act regulations.
Tracking changes regarding DoD instructions and guidelines to ensure accurate information is provided to all service members.
Ensure customer suggestions, feedback and program enhancements are provided to leadership in a timely manner.
Supply data to Epidemiologist in a zipped and password encrypted file.
Verification of the validity of System Authorization Access Requests forms from service members requesting local administrator privileges to EDHA.
Associates degree or 2 years relevant experience required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
2 years' experience in customer service positions
2 years' experience with Microsoft desktop applications
Onsite schedule 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 0600-1400
