Providing quality support for all Vector Security system end users.
Logging all support requests into ServiceNow Help Desk module to document the steps taken for resolving issues.
Providing on-call support outside of normal business hours.
Escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate team member as necessary.
Creating technical and end user support documentation for use by all team members
Helping maintain the team Wiki site by creating/updating documentation as needed.
Participating in system improvement projects
Configuring and deploying end user work stations.
Other ad hoc projects as necessary.
Candidates should possess the following skills/knowledge:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a help desk or systems related position.
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow for open and constant communication.
Demonstrated customer services skills with the ability to work with end users of all technical ability levels.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Previous experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
Ability to learn new applications and support them.
Must have advanced computer hardware and software skills and the ability to troubleshoot the following technologies:
Advanced Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 experience (i.e. familiarity with Control Panel options and system settings).
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (i.e. familiarity with the entire MS Office product family).
Experience with Office 365 in a hybrid environment and/or Exchange PowerShell and/or Windows PowerShell a plus.
Familiarity with Active Directory-Creating, changing and terminating users.
Changing folder/file permissions.
Familiarity troubleshooting iOS devices. Prior experience with Airwatch Mobile Device Management software a plus.
Workstation imaging, data transfers, and hardware support. A or equivalent training a plus
