VMR Strategic Solutions, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Senior and Junior Rapid Response Center System Administrator to support a Government contract located on Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidates must possess the following skills listed below.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Demonstrated proficiency in administering the Linux Operating System, VMWare, and Windows Operating System. Strong understanding of basic Window's functions to include account administration, Active Directory, file sharing, and other common administrative activities. Desired Candidates must have experience working in and supporting a customer service organization and have experience using common system monitoring such as Zabbix. In addition, ideal candidates will have experience in using a help desk ticketing system such as SysAid or Service Now. Team size ranges from 4 - 8 System Administrators on any given day.

Required Skill:

VMWare (experience w/ vSphere Client / vSphere Web Client and View Client)

Centrify (work with Active Directory in non-Windows environments)

SSH (experience with remote command execution), RDP (work with Remote Desktop Connection to administer accounts), and McAfee ePO (experience with security management software), and willingness to work in a mission critical essential position supporting 24x7 continuous operations (standard work schedule includes IS 0600-1500 M-F however the candidate is considered a back-up for our 24x7 SSA team and will be placed on an on-call list)

DoD 8570 compliant IAT II certification

Preferred Skills:

Experience w/ PowerShell, Perl, and Linux scripting (csh, ksh, bash)

Working knowledge of NiFi and DDS

Experience w/ CentOS and Open-stack, and experience w/ Linux commands such as mv, password, rm, useradd

Education:

Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated systems administration experience (or 4 years with bachelor's or 2 years with Masters both in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline)

Minimum of 16 years of demonstrated systems administration experience (or 12 years with bachelor's or 10 years with Masters both in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline)

Salary:

8 years of experience $80,000-90,000

16 Years of experience $110,000-120,000
