Help Desk Technician
Help Desk Technician; Robert Half Technology is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join a growing IT team for a contract to full-time opportunity in the greater Charleston area. The role will include supporting 1st and 2nd level IT incident requests. Incidents may pertain to: applications, software, PC and laptop hardware, peripherals, and password resets in Active Directory, Exchange or Office 365. The Help Desk Technician will need to be proactive to help IT team minimize outages or any down time. Will need to be able to stay calm and adjust to changing priorities quickly. Be able to work with non-technical and technical employees in a courteous and professional manner. Will be providing IT support over the phone utilizing remote tools to internal employees. Must be able to provide clear and detailed technical documentation regarding IT incidents.

Help Desk/Tech Support I
Help Desk Technician Requirements:
2 years of experience in a fast paced, high call volume environment
Recent work experience with troubleshooting PC, Laptop or peripherals hardware, software, applications, Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 is required
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 2013 required and Office 365 desired
Experience with moves, adds and changes in Active Directory
Logging, tracking and documenting IT incidents in a Ticketing System
Experience using remote access tools to assist end-users and supporting Google Chromebooks is highly desired
A and Net Certification is a plus
Must possess clear written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to end users
Must be able to relay technical information to non-technical end users Additional Information:
