Kforce has a client in search of a Service Desk Agent Level 1 (overnight) in Chicago, Illinois (IL). This is a help desk role; high volume, windows based, not focused on POS or proprietary software.
Experience in a help desk role in a similar environment; high volume, windows based, not focused on POS or proprietary software
Knowledge in Microsoft Office 2007/2010 (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
Knowledge in Blackberry device setup and troubleshooting
Knowledge in Windows XP and 7 Operating Systems
Knowledge of Active Directory and user account changes
Knowledge of Citrix and VPN
Technical aptitude with strong PC literacy skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
Strong enthusiasm and desire to learn
Strong customer service and communication skills
Effective listening skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to learn and apply technical information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
Ability to handle a large call volume
Ability to follow policies and procedures; attention to detail
Flexibility to accommodate Help Desk's hours of operation, open seven days-a-week, including holidays
