nnJob Descriptionnr r r r r rrrrTITLErrr Desktop Support Level 3 rrrrrrrrrrrrrDESCRIPTIONrrrApex Systems, nation’s 2nd largest IT Staffing firm, has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Desktop Technician  in the Greater Hadley, MA area supporting an enterprise healthcare technology organization.  .rrApplicants must have some experience with Windows Server and providing Tier 2 & 3 level support.  Going beyond password reset, this resource will be the face of IT for the location of over 200 users.  rrrrThe position of Desktop Support Level 2 diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves end user support issues and provides technical support to all Desktop, Application and IT related issues.  This position will also support and mentor junior level technicians in their tasks.rrKey Job FunctionsrrrManage all high level IT support issues.rInterface and problem solve issues with L3 and Management staffrAct as a point of contact when reporting manager is not available.rDiagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex end user support issues.rInterface with end customers.rInteract and influence with Service Delivery, Development and Information Security staff.rResearch and resolve escalated requests.rProvide problem analysis, research, and resolution for IT support trouble tickets.rManage FGMC enterprise management consoles and tools.rManage and schedule vulnerability patching.rCreate, schedule and provide enterprise metric reports.rDetermine methods to improve process efficiencies where possible.rReview, Update workflows and policies.rKeep abreast of new desktop tools and enterprise tools and bring recommendations to management.rWork independently and effectively on tasks and projects with minimal supervision.rSetup, edit and terminate FGMC network accounts.rSetup, edit and terminate third party service accounts.rTravel (as needed).rWork overtime (as needed).rTake on new responsibilities (as needed).rMaintain a clean and organized work area.rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrEEO EmployerrrApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
