Description Kforce has a client seeking a Help Desk Support Technician in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania (PA). Th hours for this role are 08 - 1700. Essential Functions: Maintains desktop software and hardware and also supports mobile workforce Provides support to users for basic software and hardware of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems Involved in the installation and rollout of new software packages, upgrades and new desktop hardware Troubleshoots problems using scripts and checklists as guides Documents problems and resolutions Participates in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implements prototypes Evaluates, maintains, modifies (e.g., creates macros, templates) and documents desktop application packages, participates in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implements prototypes Performs other duties as required Provides support to end users on a variety of issues Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system Requirements 7-8 years of Deskside support experience A , Net is a plus Deskside Support Experience Desktop Break\/Fix Experience Laptop Break\/Fix Experience Networking Experience Printer Break\/Fix Experience Self-starter, technically smart and personable Communicates well with the customer and the management in a timely manner Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Kforce is an Equal Opportunity\/Affirmative Action Employer.
