Position: Help Desk
Location: Detroit, MI 48226
Duration: through EOY but will most likely extend annually
Looking for 1-2 years of help desk experience
Role will start at lvl 1 helpdesk (phone) and move into a lvl 2 - deskside support.
Client uses Altiris Ticketing System.
Main application is Odyssey (court management software)
7 total team members
Support 1200 users
200 calls per day amongst team
Do a little bit of a personality interview with some technical skills evaluation. Typical interview. Will be Face2Face. No phone interviews.
Ready to have the person start right away.
Background Checks - are within the law enforcement network (bound by FBI), extensive background check.
Lvl 1 helpdesk - phone experience, knowledge of any ticketing system
Windows 7/8/10, Outlook
iPhone and Android - setting up emails on mobile devices (Mix of iPhone / Android)
Basic application troubleshooting, installs,
Need to be able to lift weight - move a fair amount of equipment.
Nice to Have:
Deskside support - break-fix
Hardware - PC replacements and upgrades, Dell (this is not required experience)
A little bit of networking knowledge would be great - basic IP troubleshooting, pinging, AD name resolution, joining PC's to the domain
Revamped their environment to SCCM - going to roll out some components to helpdesk (don't need to have, but great if they did)
