Required Skills# of Years: Two to four years of experience in related area of work and level of responsibilities is preferred Must have strong oral and written communication skills Must have Windows XPServerVista, LinuxUnix experience. Must be able to lifemove equipment (30-50 lbs). Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in fast-pace environment. Must be able to work with senior management and people at all levels of the firm. Extensive knowledge in the following: Microsoft Operating Systems (Win2003\Win2008\Win Enterprise Server\etc.), Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Cluster, and VMWare. SAN Configuration as it pertains to adding SAN to a server. Sharepoint Install and provide software support for applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visual Source Safe, Visual Studio, SQL Server. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Desktop and Network hardware. Description of Project: Technical Support Specialist to provide Desktop and Network support to the firm. Other responsibilities include managing hardwaresoftware inventory and purchasing. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and Windows, LinuxUnix experience is required. Essential Duties and responsibilities: -Provide technical support -Install and provide software support for applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visual Source Safe, Visual Studio, SQL Server. -Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Desktop and Network hardware. -Configure Desktop and Network systems. -Provide remote assistance to users. -Monitor and update antivirus software for all Desktops and Servers. -Install and maintain Network printers and fax machines. -Assist with all handheld device installation and support. -Responsible for Windows network administration. -Maintain and update Network functionality, and documentation for disaster recovery procedures. -Determine users' hardware and software needs and work with vendors to fill these orders. -Manage hardware and software inventory.
