Location: Washington, DC Clearance: Top Secret (Will need to obtain a Suitabilty clearacne; which will take a few additional weeks) Certification: Security Title: Intermediate Cyber Analysts Job Description In support of a US Government customer Security Operations Center (SOC), the Intermediate Vulnerability/Cyber Security Analyst will evaluate system vulnerabilities across a wide-range of Federal platforms. As a member of a small team within the SOC, the analyst will be responsible for conducting daily, weekly, and monthly vulnerability scans, gathering data, and building executive-level products to relay overall risk and attack surface to SES-level leadership. Additionally, this position serves as vital for coordinating with Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) in their remediation of SOC-identified vulnerabilities. Typical Education & Experience Typically 4 years (minimum) work experience in Vulnerability Analysis, Security Analysis, Cybersecurity Compliance, Information Assurance, or a combination. Required Skills and Education Must possess a final US Top Secret Security Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), at a minimum, before starting. Minimum of one industry-recognized technical certification. Demonstrated experience in the following skills: Written and verbal communications. Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Knowledge of NIST SP 800-60, 800-37, and 800-53 documentation and processes Knowledge of FISMA requirements or IDS/IPS background Creative problem solving abilities Ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities in a professional manner Ability to collaborate with and provide support to internal and external customers Experience with some or all of the following tools:Tenable Nessus / Security Center Client Fortify (WebInspect) Trustwave AppDetective Preferred Skills and Education 5 Years Vulnerability Analysis, ISSO, Compliance, or Security Analysis experience Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related technical discipline Security certification Previous ISSO, AA, C&A, or RMF experience or Technical Cyber Experience SNORT, Wireshark, SPLUNK, ArcSight, SIEM, IDS, IPS, ACAS, NESSUS, For Immediate consideration send your resume to ~~~ If you have any combination of the above skills let's talk!
