Install new and repurposed hardware.
Install software on desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices.
Solve and troubleshoot problems related to desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
Review service tickets.
Assist with installations, moves, adds, changes, refreshes, testing and implementation of desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
Assist with problem determination and isolation of PC hardware & software and network issues and problems.
Utilizes help desk call tracking and problem resolution software.
Document problem resolution.
Maintain security standards leveraging patch management system, anti-virus and other tools as needed
Respond to break/fix issues, troubleshoot and resolve desktop computer, laptop and mobile device hardware and Operating System issues and make recommendations for corrective action
Assist in developing and maintaining processes and procedure documentation for the Service Delivery group
Provide insight and recommendations for technology direction and implementation
Provide support for data backup and recovery procedures and/or methodologies
Three (3) years\u2019 experience providing direct PC support to end users in a large (500 user)IT organization supporting and imaging desktop, laptop and mobile devices with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10) using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Three (3) engagements lasting longer than six (6) months providing direct PC support to end users.
Demonstrable leadership ability
Experience with similar projects for a State of Government.
Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and AD group policies.
Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) & Software Delivery.
Experience with desktop inventory and software automation tools.
CompTIA A certification.
Microsoft Desktop Support certification.
Five (5) years or more experience resolving end users\u2019 hardware and software issues in a large IT environment.
